Mr. Khalsa has been in private practice in New York since 1974. He received his B.S. in Business Administration in 1968 from the University of Alabama and in 1971 his Juris Doctorate from the American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. While in law school he served as an aide to the late Senator John Sparkman, then the Senior Senator from Alabama. He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Federal Courts in New York and Colorado and the Supreme Courts of New York and Colorado.
His areas of practice include a wide range of estate planning concentrations, including: Living Trusts, Trust Administration, Probate, Medicaid and Elder Law, Asset Protection, Charitable Trusts, Family Limited Partnerships, Business Succession Planning, and Trusts for Children with Special Needs.
